I grew up painting for fun as a kid in Arizona and always kept that part of my identity a secret. It wasn’t until I moved to Sacramento in 2015 that I slowly started to feel more comfortable expressing that creative side and sharing it. I loved the connection I felt after creating a piece and having someone resonate with it. I started selling more paintings and before long I was painting a mural on a friends wall. Since that wall, I have painted nearly 35 others. I am so grateful to this community for inspiring me to step into my fullest potential as an artist, and having the chance to paint my own wall for Wide Open Walls is for sure my pinch me moment.
