Joshua Lawyer

Joshua Lawyer is a Bay Area based Artist. Son to Tongan mother Vivian and a palangi father Charles. Joshua grew up in extreme poverty constantly moving through out his child hood and early adulthood . At a young age he found Art, specifically drawing (on the back of homework) to be the only constant in his life and the only this he could control. Now as a working artist his work consistently revolves around the two narratives “Getting Lost” and “Finding Home” a narrative he is all to familiar with.
